About Caché

Caché was founded by Florent Thomas and Chef Simon Mounier, who spent years working together at Pierre Gagnaire’s two-Michelin-star restaurant in Bordeaux before moving to San Francisco.

After years in fine dining, they shared a simple vision: create the neighborhood bistro they always wished existed. A place where exceptional ingredients, thoughtful cooking, natural wine, and genuine hospitality matter more than formality.

Located in San Francisco’s Inner Sunset, just steps from Golden Gate Park, Caché blends French culinary traditions with California’s seasonal ingredients. The menu changes regularly to reflect local farms, fresh seafood arrivals, and the creativity of the kitchen.

The wine list features classic French regions, grower Champagnes, and thoughtfully selected bottles from independent producers across Europe, offering something for every occasion.

At its core, Caché is about sharing what we love most: good food, good wine, and good company.
